The Wrong Speech (Acting with Prop)

Acting Animation: Wrong Speech from Atli Hafsteinsson on Vimeo.

I spent a total of 3 weeks on this exercise. An Antarctic explorer gives a speech to his team. At least, that's the intention. We had Michael Berenstein as our teacher.

Submarine Tour Guide (Monologue Exercise)

Acting Animation: Submarine Guide from Atli Hafsteinsson on Vimeo.

A two-week assignment with Erik Schmidt again. This is Alistair the submarine tour captain, giving some tidbits of the ocean to one of his tourist clientele.
(Sorry about the squashed image, it'll have to do for now.)

Trailer Project: Vertigo

Trailer Project: Vertigo from Atli Hafsteinsson on Vimeo.

A project made in collaboration between our two classes.

3 CGAs got a classic movie to reinvent artistically. They did all character designs, modelling, rigging etcetera, and then we did all the animation in two weeks under their direction, with Alex Williams overseeing the production. It was a great experience and I think the end result looks great, as do the other trailers.

The CG artists in charge:
Dennis Jensen
Stinna Liholm
Søren Falske

The Animators:
